Club News February 2019
Fixtures and Results:
The Senior men had their first outing of the season on Sunday the 17th of February with a 2:13 to 2:5 win over Caherlistrane in Knockdoemore.
Provisional fixtures are set for the 2nd of March against Oughterard and the 16th of March against Kilconly.

The club AGM was held in January with the Juvenile/Ladies and Senior club’s AGM’s being held in the previous month.
There have been some minor changes to the structure and some coaching changes. These will soon be reflected on the website.
Recent Ladies News:
Congratulations to Kaitlin Kearney, Shauna Flaherty and Andrea Trill who received their Connacht and All Ireland winning Medals from Galway Ladies Chairperson Betty Hernan at a Function in the Claregalway Hotel Congratulations also goes to Shauna Brennan and Louise Brennan who picked her their Junior A All star Awards.
Gemma Coll and Chellene Trill received awards at the LGFA banquet in the Dalton Inn Claremorris on behalf of the 2018 All Ireland Junior B and Senior C winners and young player of the year. What an achievement for our girls. The future of Galway Ladies football is looking bright
Thanks to all involved in Strictly Claregalway which took place in early February. The winners were Lorraine and Robert. A great crowd turned out to support all of the dancers who, along with their mentors and all the organisers, had been working hard since November to put on a great show. A surprise interval act also helped entertain the crowd. A great night was had by all and the funds raised will go towards inproving facilities at the club.
As part of the event a raffle was held in support of the Coláiste Bhaile Chláir Mediation Room (Supporting Mental Health) and The Bone Marrow for Lukemia Trust. Presentations were made to representatives after the event.

Online registration is now open. We would appreciate if all continue to register prior to March the 31st to ensure effective processing of such data. Please note that the club will not be in a position to accept paper based regisrations this year so all registration must be online.
