Club Notes Week Ending 11th February 2024

Volunteers In Sport Award Winner:

We are incredibly fortunate to have a wealth of dedicated volunteers in our community, spanning numerous decades, who have made significant contributions to both our community and sporting endeavours. Their tireless efforts have enriched the fabric of our club and community life in countless ways.

As we continue to benefit from the involvement of hundreds of volunteers engaged in coaching, administration, and various other activities within our club and community, it’s important to recognise and celebrate their collective achievements.

Among these outstanding volunteers, one individual stands out for his steadfast commitment and dedication: Tony Stephens.

Tony, who has been deeply involved in various facets of both the club and the broader community for many years, is set to be honoured for his remarkable contributions at the upcoming Volunteers in Sports Awards in Blanchardstown on the 29th of February.

Tony’s receipt of the Galway award is a testament to his enduring dedication and the positive impact he has made over the years. His selfless devotion, like that of many others, has played a vital role in enhancing the quality of life within our community.

Congratulations, Tony! Your recognition is truly well-deserved, and we extend our heartfelt appreciation for your invaluable contributions.

Tony will be attending the awards ceremony with his wife Kathleen whom we also thank for her support and encouragement over the years! Enjoy the awards ceremony!
