Officially affiliated in 1968, Claregalway is now a thriving Gaelic football club situated 7 miles (12 Km) north of Galway City. Our club caters for footballers of all ages with numerous teams including a thriving ladies section.

Claregalway achieved Senior Status after winning the Intermediate Championship.
U21’s won the B County championship.
Junior B team won the North Board League.
Ladies club set up. The first training session took place on April 28th, 2002 with six Girls in attendance.
Promoted to Senior Football for the first time by winning the Co. Intermediate Final v. Clonbur at Pearse Stadium.
