The 07th of June 2026 saw our first-ever Junior D team take to the field. They are now our fifth adult men’s team joining our Senior, Intermediate, Junior A and Junior B teams.
The lads undertook the journey across Galway Bay to Inis Mór to face CLG Oileáin Árann and marked the occasion in style with a well-earned 2-09 to 2-06 victory.
A fantastic achievement for the club and a reflection of the strength and depth of football within Claregalway. Great credit is due to all the players and management involved.
Well done to everyone involved in this memorable first outing for our Junior D team. Here’s to many more days like it!
