Irish Life “Steps Challenge”
Claregalway GAA has signed up to the Irish Life ‘Steps Challenge’ starting Wednesday January 13th 2021.
Claregalway GAA are encouraging local people to enjoy safe physical activity at a time in the pandemic when it is so important to get out walking to support their health & wellbeing and doing so in a safe way while adhering to the Covid-19 Restrictions & guidelines.
Your steps count from the minute you wake up!
The MyLife “Every Step Counts” challenge runs for 7 weeks starting on 13th January and runs until 3rd March and asks each participating club and their members & local community to collectively walk 4,000 Km’s*, which is approximately the distance around Ireland and note your KMs on the MyLife App
To get involved is easy; Download the MyLife App, Register your details on the App and select your Challenge under the ‘social tab’ on the app, click on the ‘Connacht GAA – Every Step Counts and choose Claregalway GAA as your club and get stepping.
Whether you gather your KMs on your device or add them manually to the MyLife App, its important that you upload your Kms to ensure Claregalway GAA make it on the Leaderboard!

Please note that due to the current restrictions in respect to Covid-19, NO walking groups are permitted to attend venues and walkers should only walk within their own family unit, or with a person/s within their social bubble. Physical distance should be maintained throughout a walk. Walkers should adhere to the 5Km limit from your home
