We have been asked to share the below message:

Message from the Uachtarán and Ard Stiúrthóir of the GAA

A chairde,

We are all hugely proud of the significant role that the GAA plays in Irish society and the positive impact made at Club, school and County level through our promotion of our native games.

However, with that role comes responsibility and never has this been more evident than in recent days, and the decision taken to suspend all GAA activity, matches and training at Club, school and County level across all grades and codes until March 29 inclusive.

In the videos at the link below, Uachtarán CLG John Horan and Ard Stiúrthóir Tom Ryan spell out the GAA’s position and our request to all of our members to do the right thing and to play our part.

Ar aghaidh linn le chéile.

Le meas,
GAA Communications Dept.

We would ask that you follow all of the advise issued by the state and continue to keep an eye on offical channels for any updated information.
Please keep an eye out for your neighbours and those in the community who may not be able to look out for themselves.

We would also ask that you continue to support local businesses in the weeks and months ahead.

Stay safe and look out for each other,

Regards,
Claregalway GAA
