Club Notes Week Ending 30th July 2023

Mens News:

On Sunday our Junior B’s lost out to Oughterard in the Junior B Final on a scoreline of Oughterard 2:06 to 0:10

Hard luck to the Balchies they put in a gallant effort in dreadful conditions.

Also on Sunday our Juniors drew with Barna on a scoreline of: 2:06 to 1:09

Our Seniors were out on Saturday in the first round of the championship and unfortunately lost out to a strong Mountbellew/Moylough on a score line of 2:11 to 1:08

Under 19:

Our Under 19s are due to play Dunmore MacHales in Dunmore at 19:45 on Wednesday (2nd).

Well Done:

Well done to Martin “Red” Kelly and the Galway masters who played Dublin at the weekend. Martin scored 4 beautiful points from play!


Our Under 17 B’s are out on Sunday against Monivea-Abbey at 11:30 in Monivea.

Our A Team are out against Dunmore MacHales at 11:30 on Sunday morning in Knockdoemore while the development team are out against Salthill-Knocknacarra at 11:30 in The Priarie also on Sunday.

Under 12 Girls:

The Under 12s team who were victorious in their first game of the Division 7 Autumn league against Moycullen in Moycullen on Wednesday evening 26th July.

Summer Camp:

Our Gaelic Football Camp for aged 6-13 takes place between the 14th and 18th of August in Knockdoemore between 10am – 2pm. 60 Euro for one child, 50 euro for a second child or 130 Euro for a family of three of more.
