Club Notes Week Ending 23rd July 2023
Mens News:
Our Junior men had a 5 point win over Salthill-Knocknacarra on Sunday.
They are out again this coming Friday against Barna in Barna – throw in is at 19:30 on Friday evening.
Senior Championship starts this weekend with a round one match against Mountbellew/Moylough in Tuam. Throw in is set for 18:00 on Saturday.
Our Junior B’s are out on Sunday against Oughterard. Throw in is at 12 in Moycullen.

Minors:
Our Minor B team had a 4:09 to 1:04 win against Kinvara last weekend.
Under 19:
Our Under 19’s had a 0:15 to 2:06 win against Corofin.
Under 11 Boys:
Thanks to Sweeneys’ Pharamacy, Martin Grealish Crash Repairs and O Hagan Blocklaying for their generous sponsorship of three sets of jerseys for our three Under 11 boys teams.

Under 16 Girls:
Our Under 16 Division 1 Team were crowned Shield Champions last week after a very tight battle against Tuam Cortoon in Knockdoemore. Claregalway won by 1 point on the evening. Huge Congratulations to the girls and all the management team.

Our Under16 Division 5 team were out in their Shield Final on Tuesday evening last against St Gabriels in Aughrim. They put in a great performance but unfortunately it wasn’t to be for them on the evening.

Summer Camp:
Our Gaelic Football Camp for aged 6-13 takes place between the 14th and 18th of August in Knockdoemore between 10am – 2pm. 60 Euro for one child, 50 euro for a second child or 130 Euro for a family of three of more.
