Schools Competition:
We’re pleased to announce the return of the local SuperValu National School Competition in the weeks ahead. Last year, it enjoyed tremendous success, drawing strong participation from local schools and the broader community.
This year, each school will have the opportunity to field both boys’ and girls’ teams, vying for Cups, Shields, and Plates. However, our primary focus remains on fostering fun, participation, creating lasting memories, and nurturing friendships.
We extend our immense gratitude to our main sponsors, Eva from Hughes SuperValu Claregalway, and Emma from Flynns SuperValu Lackagh. Their support makes this event possible.
We’d also like to express our appreciation to Peadar of Treat Claregalway, who once again stands behind the event by generously offering complimentary tea and coffee during the final evening.
Thanks to all of our local schools for participating and best of luck to you all!
The action kicks off with the first round of games scheduled for next Wednesday and Thursday morning in Knockdoemore. We can’t wait to witness some thrilling matches in the weeks to come!
