Under 14 Girls:
Under14 Semi Final Results.
Our Div 1 Girls had a thrilling and nail biting win over Monivea Abbey last week to secure their place in the League Cup Final this week. Fixtures to follow once confirmed.
The girls had to dig deep to come from behind on more than one occasion but they did their club, coaches and parents proud with the manner in which they went about this game. They played exciting and incredible football. It was an epic team performance in what were very difficult conditions in Monivea.
Well done girls and we are all looking forward to the final.
Monivea Abbey 4-05 V 4-07 Claregalway

Sympathies – Mick Higgins:
Our deepest sympathies to the Higgins family Lydican – Anne Paul & Caroline on the passing of Mick.
Mick was the ultimate club stalwart he served in many positions from coach to chairman & everything in between his blood was definitely green and gold, Micks legacy to the club has to be the construction of our clubhouse in Lakeview after togging out for years in small dressing rooms in the centre Mick pulled a team together and worked tirelessly until we had our own clubhouse, Rest in peace Mick & thanks the club wouldn’t be where it is today only for you. May Mick Rest In Peace.
