Our Senior Ladies faced a tough game yesterday, coming up against a team that has been dominant for some time. Congratulations to Kilkerrin Clonberne Lgfa on your well-deserved win and 12th county title in a row – your strength and experience showed throughout the match and you continue to set the standards that all clubs are trying to reach.
To our own players, thank you for giving it everything and for your dedication and committment this year and every year.
The work goes in, no matter the final scoreline. We are proud of the work you continue to put in.
Sometimes the result doesn’t go our way, but your hard work and dedication on the pitch mean more than just the scoreline. Games like this are never easy, but they make us stronger for the next challenge.
Thanks to the management team for their efforts this year – the time and efforts involved are significant. We really appreciate all of the work.
To all who have supported our ladies in any way through out the year whether it be on or off the pitch – thank you.

SuperValu Competition:
What a Night at the SuperValu Schools Finals!
On a chilly but dry Wednesday evening, Knockdoemore came alive for the epic SuperValu Schools competition finals – and wow, what an evening it was!
With all our local national schools involved over the course of the tournament, we saw some of the best football action yet. 🎉 Wednesday brought the biggest crowd of the year, and the energy was electric! 💥 Parents, teachers, and supporters turned out in force to cheer on our young stars, and the kids did not disappoint!
A massive shoutout to the brilliant schools that took part:
Coolarne, Claregalway Educate Together, Bawnmore, Baile Chlair Na Gaillimhe, Carnmore, Cregmore, and Lackagh – your teams played their hearts out and gave us unforgettable moments on the pitch!
It was an evening packed with fun, fierce competition, and plenty of smiles! Seeing the talent and passion from all these young players (and the proud parents on the sidelines!) made it a night to remember.
Thank you to everyone who came out and made this event so special. We’re already buzzing for next year!
