In breaking news around the Parish, the Killinaskully ladies have been overlooked for a prize due to the shocking dancing that took place around the village during their walk!

Here is a list of all of the prize winners for the weekend. We will be in touch with you over the coming days. We would again like to thank all that participated and donated and thank all of the businesses for their sponsorship and publicity provided for the event. The current total is €16,736 including the donation and money collected at Hughes Supervalue.

Family Prize: The Fitzmaurice Family (dressed and ran in their ‘Onesey’ outfits):  Prize:  100 euro voucher from Treat Café

Honourable mention to The Fox Family and the kids from Sli an Bhradain, ‘The Dineens’, The Mc Donnells, The Morans, The Gavins, Well done.

Longest distance covered:  On Land:  Forrest Gump (Cole Greene), By Sea:  Isabel and Adam Cormican (rowing to New York!).   Each wins a 50 euro voucher for the Claregalway Hotel (split prize)

Best Pair Prize:  Declan and Aaron Madden (hurling for 5k):  Prize:  Night away for 2 persons in any iNUA hotel plus 3 course meal/breakfast

Best Adult Male:  Brian O’Donoghue (Dundee) who kicked the football 5kn in 99 kicks! Prize:  50 euro voucher from The Arches

Honourable mention to Dr. Tony Holohan (Fintan Corrigan), Dara Leonard and Alan Moran (if he wore maroon more often he would have won a prize!)

Best Adult FemaleClaregalway Senior Ladies (The warmup video, TG4 and the solo runs) Prize:  50 euro voucher from The Arches

Best Young Male:  Under 15 boys’ football, Prize:  A Coaching session for your underage team with County Stars!

Best Young Female:  Aoibhe Daly Lackagh (Irish dancing to New York) wins a jersey of your choice and U16 girls football win A Coaching session for your underage team with County Stars!

The “Pet Prize”:  The Wheelbarrow! Peter Divilly, Conor Kelly and Gerard Kelly Prize:  50 euro voucher from McHughs bar and restaurant

Most Popular Video:  With 11k views is the “Killinaskully Power Walking Ladies”: Prize:  Disqualified from receiving a prize due to terrible pole dancing technique at the village traffic lights.  All 3 have been sentenced to a night in at home!!
