As you may be aware the Claregalway & District Day Care Centre are currently in the process of building a new facility in the village.
The build started on the 6th June and it is expected it to be finished by the end of September 2019. The associated 14 houses for independent living for the elderly are scheduled to be completed soon after. While they currently welcome up to 75 service users a week, from a 10km catchment area around Claregalway and often from beyond, theirnew day care centre will accommodate up to 125 with the expanded facilities also allow the group to provide a greater variety of activities to various groups.
The Centre are currently running a fundraising draw with two brand new cars as well as other major prizes up for grabs.
