U14 Ladies League Finals
U14 Tigers played old rivals Annaghdown Tigers in the Division 4 Shield Final in Tuam Stadium on Saturday. This was a well fought contest from the start with both sides evenly matched. The Claregalway back line was particularly strong allowing very little to get past them and with some great scoring, Claregalway came out decisive winners. The Shield was presented to Samantha Burke, Winning Captain by Padraig Neenan, County Board and the referee was David Breslin. U-14 Lions played KilkerrinClonberne in the League Final in Tuam Stadium on Saturday last. The game was very well contested by both teams and the Claregalway Girls lead at halftime by 0-5 to 0-4. KilkerrinClonberne got the decisive score a goal midway through the second half and held out for a deserved win on a Final score of 1-7 to 0-8.
